MY UPDATE FROM 1ST APPT WITH MY SURGEON

Update from Dr. A NO SLEEP STUDY(YAY)!!! I have to get an EKG,Chest X-ray n Lab work(can do that at my local HP).  Endoscopy they are suppose call me about my appt for that.  Monday I will start my protein liquid diet(save money on food LOL).  I will do my psych evl. n 1st dietician appt next Thursday and I will see Dr A again on the 21st of this month.  And the July 18th I will start my support groups,cause I can only do the day time ones.  If I had a way down there in the evening I would do it but I don't.   

Just curious.  Are you doing liquid protein ONLY from Monday until your surgery?  And you won't see the surgeon again until the 21st of this month.  When is the surgery scheduled for?  That seems like a long time on liquids.  Just curious.

They wanted to do a liquid protein diet for 6 to 8 wks to shrink ur liver!!!  But he wants to see me in 3 wks. Everyone who goes thru his center has to do it. 

Two weeks was hard, I never could have done 6-8 weeks. Is it liquids only? I could have fresh veggies with the shakes but still could not have done that long. You mut be really determined. Congrats!

I can have like small meals with like skinless boneless chicken,lean ground beef or turkey breast,lean pork,low carb veggies too.  And things like that too.  So might do like 2 protein shakes n a small meal

That is doable. You will do great!
