Vibration plates! xPost

 On principle I distrust all fad diets and disbelieve the benefits of all miracle machinery. I therefore assumed vibration plates were an expensive, ineffective gimmick!

But gyms are starting to get them.

Anyone any knowledge? Do they actually work!  Do YOU actually work while using them?

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Somewhere I read (Consumer Reports, perhaps?) that their tests showed the things didn't do anything but I guess the jury is still out. Here are a few articles I found through Google:
