It had been 4 years since my first surgery. And two after i had it replaced because of a slip. Since then I have been suffering from acid reflux and plain reflux. Sometimes if I just open my mouth the reflux ( like water and it is not acid) just comes out.
If I am sleeping I have to wake up to spit the liquid otherwise it almost chocks me. Anybody with the same problem or any suggestions? Please help.

Just one really!  See your doc! Acid reflux can be both a symptom of a problem and also the cause of probems and so you need it checking out.

But while waiting fir an appt, there ar a few things you could try ( you probably already are).

Don't eat for several hours before bed.
Avoid caffeine and spicy foods
Sleep propped up.

Brst wishes, Kate

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I wholly agree with Kate! This is serious stuff, you can die from choking on that stuff or it can cause pneumonia if you inhale it. Your stomach is NOT happy with something so it needs to be checked out asap. Good luck!
