Herniated disc, spinal decompression machine DRX 9000 and Lap-Band

I have a herniated disc between L3-L4 due to multiple factors e.g. age, osteo and degenerative arthritis, poor bio mechanics, NOT as a result of my Lap-Band.

I've had 2 epidural spinal injections and it has been recommended that I try spinal decompression with the DRX 9000 machine. Has anyone done this having a Lap-Band? Any problems? Basically a large around 6 inch belt is placed over the waist area where my Band is.

Anyone had this experience? I'm very happy with my Band and still maintaining my weight loss.

Thank you!

Thank you for your concern. I'm finally off of a walker and using a cane and my pain level is down from a 9 to a 3, Thank God!

I hope someone has had experience with the DRX 9000 and spine decompression and let me know.

Everyone,

I went through my first spinal decompression session yesterday. It seems to be helping and having the lap-band caused no problems. I did NOT need to have an unfill.
