I'm sorry you are upset about BandGrads, but, we have a certain criteria we have to follow. OH rules. In order to keep our Forum free from hassles, and a lot of bad elements, we have to screen everyone. When we see a "Closed," profile, we need to have it open for anyone who would like to get to know you, and hear your experiences with the Band. You must be at least a year out, and have been active on the regular board. Also, we like to see at least a partially filled out profile. Unfortunately, there are people who are very devious, and want to get in, and cause problems. We like our slow paced, quiet board, and have a great family. You have been accepted as a member, and I hope you enjoy the friendly atmosphere. If I respond to applicants, I always explain what is needed. We welcome anyone who meets all of our criteria. I did want to add, you do not have to be at goal to join. Thanks~

Well, I can't believe it's been 7 years, but that's what the calendar says~Thanks to all of you, for listening to me all of these years, and giving me support. You've given much more than you know! My band was one of the best things I've done in my life~I appreciate all of your thoughtfullness, and understanding, too.

Jenny, There aren't many who have had their bands that long. They weren't using it in the states that far back. I've had mine for going on 7 years, with no complications. My doctor told me that barring any problems, I should keep it until the end of me! ha However, I have to say, that last 4 years. I can eat whatever I want, but pretty much stick to what I have learned from my band. Another doctor told me, that it had reached it's capacity of helping me. So...it's just there. It's full, and keeps me from, really, overeating, but any weight, I'd want to lose, would be mostly done by me. I've had no trouble maintaining, though.

Hi Tamara. hon, your profile is closed to the public. You need to open it. Go to "My OH," at the top of the page, click on settings. Click on "Profile," and you can see where it cues you for your profile. Don't forget to click "Save," at the bottom. Then, I'll approve you, as soon as I can. We'll be waiting for you!

Jean, I just wanted to tell you, I'm SO happy, and proud of you! I watched you from the beginning, and you've always had the best of attitudes, and a tremendous insight into the band! You're a great influence, on all of the Newbies, and vets, alike, and all I can say, is keep up the good work!~

Karen, we have a lot of members, who have not quite reached goal, however, we ask that you be out a year, before applying. That's where Grad's, come in. You have enough to get used to, your first year, and we feel you'll be more understanding after your first year. We'll be glad to see you~

Hi, I'm Sharon, and just thought I'd stop by, and see how things are going. I'm a Leader, for the Band Grad forum, and hope you all come see us, when you're a year out.

I've had my Band for a little over 6 years, and have had a whole new life. Some of you may remember me. I'm an "oldie," 64. Have been maintaining for 5 years, and no problems. So, I wish you all the best, and come see us when you're a year out!

Good question. BandGrads, is a private forum, and run by Bandsters. Therefore, we have certain criteria, for joining. By the time you're a year out, you may have different questions, and issues, than newbies. It's been very successful.

This is an invite, for all you bandstrers, who are a year out! We'd love to have you share your time, with the Band Grads. You can do both forums, easily. We have a quiet, stress free board, and we deal with all different problems, of bandsters, who have been out for a while. Not all band related. We have a large membership, and are always happy, to enlarge, our Band family!~

All we ask, is that you are a year out, have a filled in, open, profile, and have been an active member, of this board. So, come over, and, we'll be glad to see you. You can find us, under Groups.
