Time from Surgeon's Appt- Ottawa

Could anybody give an approximate time frame of when they see the surgeon to actually having the surgery?  (For Ottawa patients only)  I know in TO everything moves quite fast, but for Ottawa does anybody have any new info as to how things are moving.  I am a planner by heart- and even studied it in University- It stresses me out at times that I can't plan the rest of my school year with the kids in my class.  Thanks for the info!

 Hi,

I'm not sure specifically what the wait times are but I know a couple of people on here have had their surgeries moved up recently.

I had my appointment last Thursday and I am having surgery on the 13th.  A spot must have opened up as I am only on Optifast for two weeks.  It has been sooooo hard to plan for me and I sure do not have a class depending on me.  I am hoping for you sake that your surgery is sooner than later...Best of luck !!

wow you got your date quick!  Nice eh...big surprise but nice to have it over with.
Do you have children?  work outside the home?  Have help at home when you get home from surgery?
Questions questions questions :-)
Do you have an angel on here yet?  To report to everyone how you are when you have your surgery?
Rely on people in this board for lots of support, I've developed life long friendships from people I met both in here and in my classes at the Civic.
Are you enjoying your Opticrap, I mean Optifast :-)

It is going fast now that I am getting closer.  I have 4 daughters...33, 26, 23, 21.
8 Grandchildren,  6 girls, 2 boys, 1 on the way...  13,7,2,2,2,2,8mo, 7mo.
All are married except for the youngest who is engaged and will be tying the knot next February in Cancun (a great motivator for me)
My husband will take a couple of days off to help me when I get home.
What is an Angel???
I do not work outside the homehome due to the ongoing health issues. Believe or not I did work as a clerk in MOR at the Civic at one time...
Optifast is keeping me close to the bathroom, but at least it does not taste so bad.\
