QUESTION

So i have a Surprise 40th to go to tonight and I am 4 days on Optifast ....Surgery booked for May 4TH...My question is I know that it is going to be hard with all the yummy(lol) food there tonight....is there any way that just raw veggies is allowed while on Optifast??????

I was not allowed anything...if your liver doesn't shrink enough you may not be able to have the surgery done.  In my case, my liver shrank however not enough and I had the sleeve done but am very happy so far 2 mths and down about 57 lbs

Every one is different.  My surgeon allowed me to have raw veggies while on the optifast, the only veggie i wasn't allowed was raw carrots.  No dip!!  I also had low sodium broth and I steamed my veggies and added them into the broth, so I had veggie soup.
