How did you pay for the optifast in Ottawa?  cash? credit card? cheque?  Thanks!   Also.... did you pay for the optifast right after you saw the surgeon (even if you have no date) or do you wait and pay later when it is closer to your surgery date?  Thanks!

I am planning on going on optifast to see how much weight I can lose and kick start and maybe I wont need the surgery. Its worth a try.

Opinions everyone?

hey there Toyota,

Most surgeons tell people that if you ave a BMI over 40, diets and excerise will no longer work for you. Optifast is very expensive and statistics show that after 5 years, most people have gained it all back. Just my opeinion here, but I wouldnt want to waste one more year losing weight and getting fat again.

In Ottawa it's $100/wk.  Other centres are different prices but generally a little lower.

You don't have to get it at your surgeon appt. Also you don't have to buy them all in one.

I paid with debit. They do accept credit, but don't accept cash. Don't know about cheques.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:

For 3 weeks it's 297.00$ plus tax, it comes too just a little over 300$.  I paid with credit.
