Protein Shake Qu.
If I make a shake which has 36 gr of protein and add in some greek yogurt which takes me up to another 10 gr that would be 46gr. of protein in my shake. However, how much is actually absorbed into my body? You know how you need to get in at least 60 gr of protein in a day? Does the 46 actually truly count towards that, or do I need to assume that some of that won't all be absorbed so I can't count on that total 46 gr for my morning shake? Thanks for the advice!
A lot of people believe that only 30g can be absorbed at a time - but that is GREATLY disputed and I don't personally believe it. I'd count the 46 and aim for 80 per day.
