Ok,

So this is a breezy subject...

Now a few months or years down the road is your gas worse, more frequent or less than before you had surgery.

Ok I also heard that someone had so much gas they burped their way to breaking a few staples, but I guess since no one is supposed to drink bubbly stuff that would never happen.... unless we cheat......and who knows a slow leak.

Breaking staples?  Never heard of that.

I have no more gas than I ever had - less most likely.

Just like before surgery, I find that certain foods cause more gas than others. I don't really find the gas issues to be a problem and generally for me it improved quite well over time. The stomach noises though still can be loud from time to time.

Hi Thanks,

I think a lot of weird things happen to US patients, as they don't have the before and after care like we have here in Ontario.

I read that gas gets really bad after gastric bypass, glad to hear it's no change...usual gas LOL

Keep rocking!  Sue

It may be different at first as your body adjusts to a new "system", but overall it's staus quo.
