Guelph post-op diet class appointment!

Hi,

I didn't check my phone messages until bedtime last night, and there was a message in Linda's unmistakable voice.  She called to let me know my I have an appointment for August 23rd!  Last time I spoke with them they said I might hear back around the end of September, so this is quite a pleasant albeit scary surprise!

I noticed today there are a few people with new surgeon and/or surgery dates, too.  Maybe things are speeding up a little.

What's your start date? Just so I can get an idea if when I might finally get my appointment lol

Hi Nadine,

My doctor sent in the referral in August of last year, my orientation was November 11 and my first set of appointments were on Feb 23.  Hope that helps give you some idea!

Thanks sooo much for the info!! My start date is march 16 so that's only about 3 weeks after you! Lifts my spirits immensely!!

It's weird though. I called Linda yesterday and she told me that she was working on people from January. I wonder if she was confused though and thought I meant meeting the surgery.

Ultimately it doesn't matter, lol, I will have to wait until they darn well feel like calling me I guess.

Congrats on getting your class and hope to hear you letting us know you have your surgeon appointment next!!
