Good morning, everyone.

Today looks like:  a workout, lunch with a friend, grading papers, doing readings for class, taking my son to floor hockey, more school work.  Planning to take it up a notch on the workout; I'm going to try program #3 on my elliptical which is, of course, more difficult than program 1 or 2.

B - slice ww toast (yes, a whole slice, I'm carb-craving PMS queen), oz LF cheddar
S - decaf tea w/ milk, maybe 1/2 pear
L - 1/2 roast beef wrap w/ LF mayo, strawberries and grapes
D - 1/2 pear, LC light cheese wedge
S - protein shake

Have a great day!

Good morning!

I think your menu looks good today, Jen.  Keep up the great work...you can do it!! :))

Had my appt yesterday with the NP re: my blood work and aside from continued low Vit D despite my high dosages of D supplements and now starting a cholesterol med, she said I was a poster child for WLS...all other blood work was marvelous!!.  The cholesterol is familial and she felt I can only control 20% with diet and the rest was fighting a huge family tendency from both sides and the Vit D....very common and no biggy.  I'm okay with that.   Starting hairloss again so she recommended \I up my protein.  Love this new clinic here.  Soooooo thorough, compassionate, knowledgable!  Very very impressed.   Spent almost 2 hours with NP just talking as she "wanted to pick my brain" since I am 2 years out.  I happily obliged as I love sharing this journey....both the ups and downs....with whomever wants to know anything.   She was more interested in "my ghosts/demons" as she put it, and as we all know, those are the huge things we have to deal with inside ourselves after the surgery.

Anyway, that's it...on to my plan

B: 2 oz chicken breast

S - greek yogurt

L - canned salmon on lettuce

Su - chicken and veggies

S - protein bar, cheese/pepperette/hot sauce

Have a good one!!!
