Hi - I am having my surgery on December 2nd at 11am at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Just checking in to see if anyone else is scheduled too?

I had my surgery in Ottawa last December and everyone was really awesome. I just wanted to wish you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. I'll be scooting over to make room for you on the bench. All the best for a successful journey.

I had my surgery over a year ago...you'll be just fine. You'll be surprised how fast you bounce back. You've made it over the good ole Optifast hurdle...you can do anything now!
Keep positive. Just remember, move around, walking as much as you can....I know people tell us that, but man it really helps with the gas discomfort afterwards. Just don't be afraid to take rests, don't push yourself too hard!
All the best to you! Be proud you've made probably the biggest decision of your life...it truly changes your life...for the better :-)
