yeast infections post surgery.....

hi everyone i am al most 2 years post op rny.....and i find it the last year i have been getting yeast infections which i never did before. I am not diabetic i dont have blood sugar issues....i am not on antibiotics,i take acidophallus every day for now 1 year I dont eat sugar...i dont eat a lot of white carbs and so on.....

my question is is there any one else out there with the same issie...can it be becaus eof the surgery and our anatomy changing somewhat? i am just getting frustrated with it ...going to talk to my family doctor about but i know he wont be of any help

I used to get yeast infections all the time. We eventually figured out that my partner was passing it back to me. Once he got treated too the recurrences reduced significantly.

No experience myself - but just like Beth - my Mom and Dad had that issue. Once he was treated - it helped significantly....

Did you change your method of birth control?

have not changed my birthcontrol or anything like that....and lets just say its not due to a partner
