Belleville Support Group????

Is there an active support group in the Belleville/Trenton area? Does anyone know who I could contact? Thanks everyone!

I am in Belleville and there are definately WLS people around ...   I have seen the odd group meeting posted. Hopefully someone in the know answers you.

There is supposed to be one at Trenton Hospital, I can't remember if it is the first or second Monday of every month.

 i live in trenton and i havent heard of the one at the hospital.....

I work at TMH and one of the nurses I work with has had surgery. She told me about it. I asked her on Tuesday when it was and then promptly forgot which Monday she said. I will find out more and post back.

 hi...there is a group in belleville....a lady by the name of tina has it once in awhile in her home......its not an active group by going once a month....it is when tina is available because she is a very busy lady....

I'm in Belleville....unfortunately I've never been able to attend Tina's support group meetings. May one day. Send me a message anytime if you need support.

Hi guys. Yes! It's me that has the meetings. They are informal because yes, I am very busy but I'd love to have someone else help me out if it's possible. I'd love to have someone else either host them or we could share so they are more consistent for people. Please do get in touch with me and feel free to email me: [email protected] to stay in touch. I'm also on Facebook. I do not have any formal training with the group, I am at them for the support from everyone else as well so I really would like to keep these going. I really wish Stephanie would get involved again. Her regular meetings were fantastic!!!
If I can help anyone, feel free to email me or facebook me - Tina Sawicki. I'm not private and talk about everything. I've tried to pay this forward as much as I can and am finally have some success with my compulsive over eating and emotional over eating issues.
I'm coming up on my two year anniversary next month and I look forward to meeting new people and helping in any way I can!!

I emailed the Nurse in charge of the Trenton Hospital support group.
Here is her reply:
The next meeting is on March 5th at 7pm in the 2B conference room.
If you are on that website again let them know. If they want more info
give them my name and have them call me
