I like the way you put that, Brenda.  Kicking my own butt, for sure.   :)

Thanks for the good wishes.

Yikes!  I've always dreaded the flimsy chairs...and people's cars when you didn't know if the seatbelt will fit.   Soon these worries will be a thing of the past =)  Sorry you had to have it happen but take solace in the fact that you'll have many years where you'll have no more worries on this!

Have a great day!

Ahh, yes, Dawn -- the seatbelts, too!  I know you "get" this.  Thanks for your kind words.

Not a rant at all... I can totally sympathize with you.

Last night, my jeans ripped in the thighs when I kneeled down. Too much wear in that area.

I think everyone here gets it....

Hugs to you!

Argghh!  Jackie, you are SO right.  This is the place, perhaps one of a very few, where people do get it.

Thanks for the hugs -- gladly accepted.

Sorry to hear that happened, I know exactly how you feel. It happened to me about two years ago, I was sitting on a patio chair (non folding, the plastic kind) and it cracked in half! It was so embarassing.

I will be glad when I don't have to worry about fitting into a chair or hoping it doesn't break.

Oh yes, Northern Star -- we will persevere and we will fit in chairs that won't break -- and we will do it together!

Cheers ...

Chalk it up to another crappy experience you will leave behind you. Sorry you had to go through that.  Would you believe me if I told you that at some point, you will miss the padding on your tailbone?  I walk into restaurants and still scan the room for the best chairs, but now it's not the widest or the sturdiest, it's the cushiest!
Hope to see you soon!
