Thats what I thought too, but got mixed messages. in Ottawa they told me that they can stop the process at anytime if you dont qualify anymore, inc weightloss, smoking, diabeties not controlled etc.

At your height, you'd have to go down to 197 to end up just below a BMI of 40 so unless you think you are going to lose another 33 lbs I'd not worry about it. When you go for your next set of appointments, ask them which weigh in they use so you know.

Thanks everyone, Lana call today I think I ll be OK, the ball is moving should not be long enough to lose another 33 ponds lol! Surgery class March 21 and meeting the surgeon April 17 Woohooo!

OMG Brigitte - Congratulations on getting your dates for the surgery class and the surgeon. You have been so patient. Your surgery date shouldn't be much later too!

Most of us lost alot of weight on Optifast. Without my comorbidities I would not have qualified the day of surgery. No one even blinked.
