Bought my wife and I some bicycles. Figure it's something we can do together pre and post-op. Her idea actually. I used to ride a lot in my 20's. I rode around the block a few times. Felt like a circus bear, but I'm sure it gets better.

Biking is great!  I hadn't done it in over 20 years when my husband got me a bike for my birthday a few years ago.  I was pretty awkward at first, but it didn't take long to get used to it.  This year I plan to bike to and from work (40 .minutes each way) whenever I can.

My other half bought us bikes last summer however with the weight and sore knees/back we didnt ride,  I have had my surgery, he is booked to see the surgeon next month so by the end of the summer we will be putting miles on our new bikes too!!

Biking is a great exersize and something I actually enjoy!
