You would think that I have been on this board long enough to at least know what I should bring to the Hospital for my surgery.  Right now the only thing I can think of bringing is my tooth brush, underwear and husband lol  Please a little help to fill up my suitcase.  Thanks!

Found my phone and tablet useful. I just couldn't get myself to read my book or even the couple of magazines I bought.

I brought...

- slippers
- a mini handheld fan (I was SO HOT after suregery!!)
- cash for a tv and/or phone
- my toothbrush
- hair scrunchie
- comfy clothes to wear home (I wore those to the hospital)
- my cell phone and charger (used both)
- a book (used a couple times, especially while waiting for surgery)
- 2 word puzzle books (used once)
- all my regular medications (they were supposed to have all of it there for me from the hospital pharmacy but, of course, there were issues so it's a good thing I brought my own)
- my CPAP machine and mask (they will have the correc****er for it)
- my robe (didn't use, was way too hot!)
- lip balm
- deck of cards (never used)
- hard case for my glasses
- a copy of my will and living will
- my health card, driver's license and a credit card tucked away in a secret spot

I thought about bringing my pillow but it didn't fit in my case so I left it at home.
Hubby2B brought our laptop for me to use while he was there; he took it home with him at night just to be safe.

GOOD LUCK!

magazines are good if you can't concentrate on reading, you can always flip the pages

You will need a pillow too for the ride home and put it in the seat belt against your belly cause those bumps really hurt and it feels like your insides will come out if you do not have your pillow.

I'm going to bring pads, just in case I start my period.
And don't forget to take off your jewelery!
All the best sweetie.
