Just got home from surgery today. Surgery was textbook and smooth according to Dr. Huynh. Claimed I had a healthy fat free liver and he expects no complications.

The staff at Humber are awesome. Loraine my day nurse was so helpful and really listened to my questions. She is the best. You can tell she likes to help people and not just a paycheck.

I walked around Humber to find other bariatric post-ops, but no other walkers. Some walked like walkers off the HBO show. Yet it was not like I would yell out Hey ! are you in for WLS !!!

I may be an exception, but I was in very little pain. Some tightness around my incisions and seriously bloated, but no sharp pains. Passing some gas but no BM yet. Food is going down slowly but surely. My pouch doesn't say STOP right away, so I stick to the 15ml rule.

Keeping hydrated is the toughest when you can only take sips.

Glad to be home.
