OT - Met Justin Bieber!

My Mom, my 5-year old and I were in Stratford on Saturday watching You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. We were inside having a drink/snack at intermission when we saw Justin Bieber get out of the back of a car. We rushed out to see if we could get a quick picture or autograph, and were treated to this:

I wasn't sure why he chose to start with a Goo Goo Dolls song, but it's because that was the
song he was singing on those same steps in the video that got him discovered (at 48 seconds below):

Then he went right into "Baby, Baby":

My daughter Katie is singing right along with him! She didn't even really know who Justin was, to be honest - she knows the words to Baby, Baby because we like Glee and play that version quite a bit in the car.

Finally, my Mom and Katie got to stand right next to him for a group shot - he has his arm around my Mom!

They tried to interview Katie after Biebs left, but she didn't want to miss the second half of the show, so didn't have much to say. ;) The camera man asked for our phone number in case he needed to call us to get a release signed, so maybe we'll see her in a special or movie!

All in all a fun afternoon!

Wow! That was an amazing opportunity for you and your family! He is such an amazingly talented and classy young man. And, he sure makes Canada proud.
This coming from an almost 60 year old woman! (me!)

Thanks, Carol! I think so, too. He seems to be a very nice young man. We were a bit on the old and young side of his target audience, but My Mom, Daughter and I all enjoyed hearing him sing in such an intimate location!
