Having had two c-sections, this is totally easier, no where the pain. I got off the drugs really fast as I didn;t like the feel of them. I walked and walked in the hospital to get the gas going, thats the most uncomfortable. I was off work for 2 wks, worked at home for 2wks as I have a long drive and its uncomfortable. You look really young so you should bounce back quick.
They do tell you one in 200, pass away, but when I asked my doctor he had no one, those facts take in people who are over 400-800 lbs. The heavier the more risk, due to breathing issues and other medical issues.  You will be just fine.
Good luck.

Yes I realize its much more then my incisions, and a c-section is way more then just an incision.. I know what they are doing to me and realize what they are doing to my insides as I've been researching and watching close friends for 3.5 yrs.
And with the answers I have got everyone is different, some people heal faster then others and bodies react different then others, so was asking really what and when people started doing these things again..

I asked a few of these of my surgeon and he said for driving it depends on you.  He said once you can slam on the brakes with full force and have it not hurt, you are ready for driving.  He said to try it in the driveway.

Work, it depends on what you have to do.  If it's a sitting job answering phones, you might be able to go back in a week or less.  If you have to exert yourself or lift anything, you'll have to wait longer.

That's all I can add.
