Throwing up isn't necessarily dumping syndrome.  You're right that you probably ate too fast or didn't chew enough.  That's different than dumping generally.

EXACT same thing happened to me the other night with fish. And I don't think I chewed it down well enough. I don't think it's dumping. Just a reminder we need to chew chew chew :)

I have eaten food too fast and thrown up.  Its not dumping really, I have eaten a small piece if lasagna and that gave me dumping, throwing up, sweating, on the pottie with major action, unable to leave the pottie safely for an hour or so, really feeling very shakey and sore tummy for a few hours.  Very unpleasant, the throwing up from eating too fast was enjoyable in comparison.  Just sayin.

ohhhh that's a good thought. Making sure it's super moist. It may have been too dry for me too. Good thought for the future thanks :)

I feel for you, I have had that happen with a few things I have tried...I am pretty sure I am chewing enough but think its that last bite too much...but I am slowly learning that full feeling again, its so different than it was pre-op.
