All the meetings are done....

Now the waiting game has begun... waiting to get my surgeon's appointment...
TWH are so slow that I doubt I will see the inside of the operating room before December.
On a positive note, I have lost almost 15 lbs. by myself since mid-July!!!!
Hopefully by the time I get to surgery I will shed at least 20lbs. more.

Can someone tell me how I can get a banner that tracks my wight loss? I see most of you have it and I want one too :-)

Hey! I am with TWH.... I started June 28th they got my referral and I have had my nurse practitioner appt, my social worker appt, my nutrition class and I am still waiting on my one on one nutrition, and one on one Psych appointments then the surgeon and surgery... I am HOPING for a DEC/JAN surgery date!

Just wondering what your timeline looked like.

My orientation was April 3rd and my last appointment was yesterday (Aug. 30).... I wish you good luck but if you go at the same rate I am you should probably add 2 more months. 

I waited almost a month after all the appointments. I was beginning to think they had forgotten me. Then it will depend how long you have to be on Opti as to your surgery date. I was told that after you have done all your appointments they meet as a team to decide if they have everything then call you with either follow-up or a surgeons appt. You will get your surgery date at this appt.

The nutritionist said that the team meets today (every Thursday)  but it will probably take a few weeks before I get the call.
Then almost 2 months until I meet the surgeon and another 2 months for surgery....
I really hope it would be faster but they seem to be backlogged.

Even though they have 3 hospitals you can end up at they do appear to be swamped. Good luck

You didn't happen to be at TWH on Monday at like 1pm did you???  There was a lady there asking about her appointments and the girl behind the counter said a couple months or surgeon appt and a couple months for surgery.... wondering if that was you??

No it wasn't me. I was there on Wed. 

To get the banner, go under Health Tracker.  In there, you log your weight, and there is a tab called Tickers and Widgets, that's where you set that up.
