Staples are out!!

Had surgery Oct 18, and the last few days my staples have been driving me nuts-so itchy!! So happy to have them out!!
 Referral to Guelph Sept 2010, Surgery booked with Dr Reed for Oct 18, 2012

dr reed did my surgery oct 19th cant wait to get mine out on fri.  on the upside i will still be franken belly for halloween.

I should go as a ghost of my former self, nah, don't have a big enough white sheet for that one.

I had my surgery in hamilton and don't remember having staples. Where are your staples ?

I think it depends on the doc... I didn't have staples either

Dr Reed uses staples to close all your stomache incisions. I had 5 incisions = 19 staples.

That's great. GTlad they are out. I didn't have any but can imagine it would be itchy

Dr Reed is doing my surgery on Nov 22 and I'm not looking forward to the staples at all.  I had them with my C-section and I remember being very irritated by them.  How much did they bother you?  I know the incisions will be much much smaller than my c-section so hopefully that will make things a little more bearable.
