Hi All,

I ran my first race October 27th at "the Zombie Race" in Milton Ontario. I was in sight of the finish line when a zombie grabbed me in a bear hug and took my last flag. There were 582 entrants, with 429 finishers. I placed 251 at a time of 35 min, 22 seconds. That included dodging zombies, climbing a huge wooden jungle gym, running a maze, up a couple of ski hills etc.

I am so happy that I did this. I am now eyeballing a 7.5km fat assed trail run. Problem is that the most I've done is 5km and the race is on the 17th so not a lot of time to train....

P.s. How do we add pictures in this new web format?  Thanks figured it out

don't worry about doing the 7.5k, the most I ever ran before my 10 k was 7... you can do it, just pace yourself.

btw, i can't open those links, i guess cuz i'm not a fb friend?

He wanted to eat my brain. I escaped though in a final burst of speed. It was a cold, wet and muddy day and I look forward to doing it again next year.
