great motivation, isn't it?! I just realized last night my new jeans I bought a month ago, that are the same size I wore in grade seven (over three decades ago) are too big in the butt! Just call me droopy drawers! A year in the life passes so quickly!
it was soooooooooooooooo amazing last year, when i was able to buy a gorgeous dress for my hubby's xmas party from work. one of the women at the party thought my hubby was there with "another woman", didnt speak to me all night, which i thought was weird, until she finally recognized me at the end of the night. lol...

What's funny is that my thoughts were towards food, not clothes. I never could believe that I am the size I am now. My thoughts were always towards the Christmas dinner. "This is the last Christmas dinner i'll enjoy" Which, of course is wrong. But that's so hard to believe until you're out.
Exciting for you to look forward to new holiday dresses!!! Amazing what you'll go through in the next year!

I've bought smaller sizes at thrift stores and re-donated them unworn because I outgrew them so fast - which is a shock to me. I'm not losing weight very fast but I seem to be redistributing my weight on by body as weeks go on - don't really understand it but it's all good! It is such a pleasure to put on clothes and wear them without trying on many to figure out "which makes me look slimmer". YIKES. When I look in the mirror, I see changes. My wrists are smaller. My eyes look bigger (less cheeks!). I am sooo grateful for this, I kinda wish I explored it sooner when I was abit younger (and my skin had more elasticity (but oh well). I just find that my whole outlook on life has changed, away from pounds and more about what matters.
Back to the topic ... I look forward to my husband's Christmas party this year - I want to wear something FUN!
