Just a little update and a question
Hi all!
Last time I posted on here, I was dealing with my less then computer illiterate doctor and frustrated because I had found out that I was referred back in April of 2010 and nothing came of it. After months of doing the leg work myself - I finally got my doctor to sign off on forms (October 29, 2012) and sent into the registry!
Yesterday, I got my letter in the mail for ORIENTATION! Monday, FEBRUARY 4th, 2013 at St. Joes.
It is such a small step and I am grateful for it. However, do you think I could call and see if I could get into an earlier orientation, or do I let the process come as it may?

Thee is no harm in asking! Although It may be the next one available.

I am going to my Orientation on November 26th at 9am at St. Joes. Why not make a call to see if they can't squeeze you in. Maybe put you on a waiting list in case someone can't make the day or changes their mind. I would love to have someone to go with and have support with.
Congratulation for making this happen for yourself!

Absolutely call! There is another member on OH who hastened her journey by making 'inquiring' calls. She mentioned how quickly she was able to speed up her timelines... this prompted me to make some calls myself. Which was definitely in my favour. Squeaky wheel.. lol
Good luck,
E
