2.5 months post op. Been having a very hard time with my pouch. Doubled up on my PPI for a while now, being scoped tomorrow by my surgeon. Cant wait to get an answer.

She said the whole thing will take 2 minutes; takes longer for the meds to kick in then anything.

You can ask for no sedation.  I never get any, just the squirt of numbing stuff in the back of the throat and within 5 minutes it's over.

I hope they find out what is causing you problems.

My pouch just hasnt been happy since It arrived... I vomit regularly, was on clear fluids for longer then needed and a slow slow transition to reg foods. Last weekend when I was at work I started with bad back pain, i am already missing my gallbladder, and acid burning in my throat etc. It would only go away if I ate something, i.e coating my stomach. Doubled up on my PPI on my own accord. Took 5 days for the pain to subside, in the interm I had a follow up appt at the clinic. That was last Tuesday, this Tuesday they wanted me to see the surgeon and hence a scope tomorrow.
