Can't say I ever had that pain but wouldn't laugh at it. I ended up face down in snow with down hill skis that didn't release and no way to release the skis that didn't come off like they should have! That was worth laughing at! You'll have so many great NSVs, so many small victories that add up to huge ones and probably some huge ones too!
LOL Ian... I once fell just before sitting on the ski lift and could not get up.... it was Tres. embarrasing.

Well I'm not going to laugh, because I've totally been there! Over the last several months I've kept a file of all of the things that are more difficult for me since I'm obese. I figure it'll make a great Non-Scale Victory (NSV) list for me a few months from now!

you'll like this nsv, this september, i was doing a walk to raise money for kidney research, i had a function just prior, for which i was wearing a skirt. I thought i'd have time to change in between, but only had time to change from heels to runners. So i walked, about 4 k, in a skirt. No chafing. none. ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....
