Getting Impatient
I'm starting to get impatient for my surgery. I had my orientation last May. I've completed appointments with social work, dietician, had bloodwork. Now I have to wait for an endoscopy. Which I understand that I need and it's for my health. I just really want to meet with the surgeon in Ottawa and get the show on the road.....Just thought I'd share my frustration.
Don't feel bad, I hear it's an Ottawa issue!!
I had nurse appointment 3 months ago, did all requested blood work( 3 different sets of them) and still waiting for them to call me with appointments for sleep test, scope, PFT, and ecg.
3 months really? I've called and was told my file wasn't sent to the front as homework yet.
I'm tempted to go see my family physician and have him book me for all those tests..
Surely would have been nice to have all this done before meeting with NUT & BEHAVIOURIST
Orientation last May? Hmmm....compared to myself (& many others) you actually are progressing well. I had my orientation in AUG 2011 (9 months before you) and just had my endoscopy 2 weeks ago. I, of anyone knows how extremely hard it is to be patient, but prepare yourself for a long wait.
