Well I made it through!! Honestly wasn't as bad as I thought the pain would be. The staff at HRRH were fantastic!! I could not have asked for better support. Surgery was good no major problems. But I am having blood pressure issues that I didn't have before. Was prescribed medication to help control it. (Doesn't taste good ground up...lol)
Drinking, walking and gas are going well. Just super happy to be home and looking forward to my own bed tonight.

I'm glad your home safe and get to have your own bed back tonight. Sorry to hear about the blood pressure. Is it going up too high?

Speedy recovery wishes.

Yes it is. This is a issue I've never had before. It apperently started right after surgery in recovery. But no other major complications which is great.

Welcome home!  I also thought the pain wasn't as bad as I expected.  I had Dr.Starr as well and the staff at HRRH are great, but there is no place like home lol.

Your body is probably a bit freaked out, and the BP may be a response to pain - that you aren't feeling !

So don't forget a tylenol or two along the way.  325 mgs are small enough to take whole.

I was told if the pills were smaller than a chocolate M&M, they could be taken whole.  (I hate crushed meds too).

Good luck.
