East end coffee, new post
So we have a lot of interest. To keep it on the Danforth I have two suggests given to me.
The Only located at 966 Danforth Ave which is just east of Pape Station
The Mad Italian 565 Danforth Ave just west of Pape Ave
This keeps it on the subway. I have personally never been to either so am taking others word for their suitability
I have had a request to meet before January 10th. TWH is meeting on the 9th I believe. I personally would have a lot of problems with a Thursday. Otherwise I am open to all suggestions.
I say go with the one that has movable tables with comfortable seating (for the pre-op/newly post-op folks). There is a Mad Italian across the street from my daughter's work on Bayview. She tells me that they are really good and popular in the neighbourhood, so I think it might be a good choice. They have a lot of options available. :)

Well, why don't we try the Mad Italian for now (I'm just concerned about the size of The Only) and if it doesn't work out, we can try somewhere else next. Does that sound okay?
Should we have a regular day of the week and do it maybe every other week or so? Also, Amanda, if you want to meet earlier than January, we could always just pick an evening (maybe next week?) that works for us, post it in case anyone else can make it and feels like it, and go from there.
Next week, Monday and Tuesday evenings are good for me, any time.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
