Update

Just an update... Had my surgery yesterday. Went well. There was some concerns going in that he'd have to do a sleeve due to adhesions (I've had quite a few abdominal surgeries in the past but I got my bypass! I feel surprisingly good. Very little surgical pain but LOTS of gas pains. I've never wanted to fart and/or belch so much in my life. I'm walking around as much as possible. I have progressed from clear fluids to carnation sugar free instant breakfasts and am taking in about
120mls/hour. May be discharged back to the hotel tomorrow or Monday and flying back home on Wednesday. Cannot wait to see my babies!!

Yay! Great news, Maranda! Glad to hear it went as planned! The walking should help the gas, or ask for a warm blanket, put it on your stomach and rub your tummy, that may help too. Good luck!!
