Saw this on Shark Tank and was wondering what you all think about it.  Would it be suitable for WLS patients?

A 2 tbsp serving of the plain peanut butter has:

14g fat
6g carb
5g fiber
1g sugar
14g protein

I would use it, but the price of $9.99 is ridiculous. I'd rather blend my own protein powder into some natural peanut butter at home for half the price.

I checked out the original site - they don't seem to ship to Canada.

If you click on the 'Canadian locations' it sends you to another online store - and they are $16.99 per jar instead of $9.99!

Looks tasty though!

the Canadian one includes shipping but the American adds 5.95 in shipping. So they aren't so far apart after that.

I would try the PB2 product that is available at the health food stores.  It is a powdered peanut butter that is 85% less fat calories than traditional peanut butter.  They actualy press the peanuts to remove the fat and oils.  The result is delicious.  2 tbsp is 45 cal Fat is 1.5 and the Sugar is 1. This stuff is great mixed in with protein shakes very peanuty flavour too !

233 calories is not worth it for only 14 grams of protein. And there are much better things to eat for the sake of 14 grams of fat. Certainly something more filling than only 35 grams of food. (Correction - 32 grams)

I, too, would stick with PB2.
