what i need to buy optifast stage¿
Hi Mary! You're soooo close! Any grocery store sells sf jello...and buy some, it was my go to treat! I bought caramel sf syrup @ Starbucks. Sf gum will be a good thing to get as well. I also loved my broth. I tended to blend my Opti with ice, so never craved the Popsicles and never looked for or bought any. Good luck! And watch that fluid intake, lots of water (MIO was my go to staple for sweetener...can't stand the taste post-op go figure?)....anyhow....lots of water will chase away those headaches and hunger pangs. So excited for you!

Yes, that's the one! As long as you stay under your 20cal per day with broth/jello/gum...you're good!

The easiest is SF Jello from the refrigerated section of the grocery store. I found them at both Metro and No Frills (my shopping options). Some have said you can get SF syrups at Winners, but I haven't looked there. Starbucks does seem to have them though. As for popsicles. I never found any, if you are lucky you can find SF freezies (may not be available depending on when surgery is). But if you want a popsicle, flavor some water and make your own. Some used MIO and some used Crystal Light.
I didn't have MIO for my water, but went through a lot of Crystal Light. Now I can double the water to each pouch and be happy. They can be too sweet now.
Schedule your Opti, and drink in between. During quiet hours, have something to do (I did knitting & crafts) just to keep you busy and not thinking of food. Some went out for walks.
I wasn't a gum chewer so I never got into that. Broth was nice once in a while.
Good luck!
Cathy
Chapman's Sugar Free popsicles are available at Foodland (formerly IGA)... part of the Sobey's group.
