IOGO Greek Yogurt

I've purchased this yogurt 3x now and is it just me or does anyone else find it bitter?

After surgery everything tastes super salty and that's okay - I no longer use salt to cook [good thing, no?] but this bitter taste from yogurt - can't figure out if it's the actual yogurt or just my tastebuds.  No other yogurt does this but most are sweetened with artificial sweeteners.

I have NOT had my surgery yet. So I do not want to screw you up or anything, BUT!! I can tell you that I do think it is bitter. It is also very very thick and I cannot get past that?

Just my opinion :)

Good Luck! :)

That's not a bad idea since I still have the Beatrice yogurt at home.  I don't mind the bitterness too much but it just seems odd since most others are sweet.

It is bitter!  Add sugar free turrani syrup of your choice!  Makes it so much better!

I find this yogurt has too much sugar. Have you tried the source Greek yogurt?

I have.  I like it better but the grocer I went to last night only had the IOGO brand in stock.  And not surprisingly, each time I've purchased it it's been at this same grocery store on the way home.

I like the vanilla 0% Iogo yogurt, but I find the flavoured 0% ones to be very bitter and leave a lingering nasty aftertaste.  I'm 16 days post-op.
