Just been out on my bike, yes I know it's cold LOL. Bottom line is my cardio suck's big time! Time to hit the gym I think (can we at 9 weeks?), I know the one month class said don't but I have to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't - and I didn't - until I got the approval from my surgeon.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

The surgeon said yes but the Bariatric clinic said to wait.

surgeon "overrides" clinic.

Just be careful with abdominal exc. etc... Listen to your body and don't overdo it.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

I started the gym 2 weeks ago and I am almost 6 weeks out !! I just listen to my body and know when it is time to finish....

I've been working out since about 3 weeks out. I don't go to the gym but I started with my Elliptical. In the last couple of weeks I have added some DVD's that are cardio and light weights. I have avoided anything abdominal up to this point. I also listen to my body and if something doesn't feel right I stop.

At my one month check up Dr. Huynh said it was okay to work out, in fact he told me too. I left there very happy. Yes I like working out!

Referral Aug/11, transferred to HRRH May/12, Orientation July 4/12, Surgeon July 17/12, RD, SW Aug 3/12, RN Aug 22/12, Dr. Glazer/Sleep Study Sept/12, Surgeon Nov 2/12, 1st surgery date (cancelled due to to sickness) Dec 13/12, Re-scheduled for Feb 6/13

Im 8 weeks tomorrow.. They told me cardio is ok but nothing abdominal yet and no lifting etc.
