I understand we can have SF jello and broth. While on opti, my question is about the limit of these extras.....how many jellos and cups of broth can we have per day?

I think it depends on your centre. In Ottawa we can only have 20 calories on top of Opti. So, here it would be 20 calories worth of broth, jello, etc.

I am from TWH. Never was told the allowance of the jello and broth.

when I spoke to my dietician at TWH she said their isn't any rules against the amount you have. You should be ok.

I agree with you on the broth, its been my saving grace.

another idea is making popsicles out of crysal lite. I like those to.

I was never given a limit jello and broth was my saviour while on Opti.

Referral- March 2012, Letter April 19, Orientation TWH- June 6, NP - July 3, Sleep Apena test July 16, Internist and SW - July 17, Nutritional class - July 23, Dietician appt. July 30th, Psych-Social appt - Aug 20th. Follow up with doctor sleep apena Aug. 28th Surgeons appt. - Dec. 14th Dr. Jackson. Surgery date - Feb 12 2013 - VSG
