I rewarded myself......but not with food this time...pics
So I am just over 9 weeks post op. I am down 46 lbs. Feel so much better. As we move into summer , life is getting very busy. Just after my return to work I was granted a huge promotion. I was really happy cuz I worked really hard for almost 2 yrs to get it !!! Normally, I would have gone out for dinner to celebrate, ate my face off, had some sugary concoction for dessert, and then felt like crap after cuz I was still so fat. Well this time I did something different. I bought myself a new SUV. LOL Yup. I did. I got myself a Hyundai Santa Fe, 2009. silver. I have to say I Iove it. Not a normal reward but for the first time food was not the thing I wanted to celebrate. I feel good most days, some days not so much. I have eaten too fast a couple of times and paid for it. As recent as Fri afternoon at work. Yup I was sick all afternoon at work. But it passed. Its a learning experience for sure. But I have not one regret !!! I hope everyone is enjoying the weather, its starting to get nice....if there is one thing I have learned, its to live life to fullest, I finally have my life back.
