Soooo disappointing!!!

So after getting all my appointments completed quickly and being cleared by Dr. Agarwal, I received a call from Audrey today saying that yes indeed I have been cleared but unfortunately i am looking at a post op diet class in November and then the surgeon after that,.

So my surgery probably won't be until the new year.  I was sooooooo hoping to be done by Xmas.  Bummer!!!

I will keep plugging away at eating healthy. :)

 

Sorry to hear the news!   Very frustrating the wait.    And definitely keep making changes in lifestyle that will help support you post-op.   Your time will come!    

 

Did you make sure to ask to be called if someone cancels? I got in really early because I was on the cancellation list. Good luck to you

I asked about a cancelation list but she said they wouldn't have one and if they did there are between 100-200 people before me.

I knw its upsetting initially, but time sure does fly! Your time will be here soon, this extra time may give you an edge too. Good luck.

Most of us seem to be getting those far away surgery dates lately - I have another 102 days until i even start opti and my date was given to be about a month ago.

 

At least this gives us the extra time we need to reflect on our emotional eating and learn and re lean and study everything we will ever need to know ;)... i am a little obsessed.

That is upsetting news.  Sorry to hear about the delay.....that sure puts a damper on things.  I hope somehow you get a earlier call, you never know!  They told me November too then somehow at the Surgeon Meeting they gave me September!

They won't even book me with the Surgeon until after the Post Op class.

I guess they are trying to stall the process because there seems to be a back log of people ready now for the surgery but not enough dates open.
