Ottawa - surgery dates?

I met with Dr. Neville today at the OWMC and signed my consent form for surgery!!  It's really, really happening!! 

Has anyone in Ottawa recently seen the surgeon and if so, what kind of wait times is it between a) your appointment and when you got the call and b)  when your surgery is?  

I will be soooo tempted to call tomorrow, not to get a date even, well in hopes I get a date, but more to see what the wait times are like.  It's going to drive me crazy waiting for the phone to ring!!!! 

 

 

Hi, I'm newbie to posting, and I too am waiting for the call. I met my surgeon on July 30 and from what I can get from other people who have had the surgery, the wait is about 3 weeks.  They call you and give you your date and when to start your shakes.  The waiting is awful.  Hope this helps.  Jenn

Oh wow, I would crazy waiting for 2 weeks without a call !!  Have you tried calling them at all ? 

My surgery was June 10th. I got my call 2 days after my appt to sign consent. As well I had 3 days to eat what I thought I needed to before optifast. Sit tight girl, soon, soon, soon!

I saw Dr. Neville July 16th. I got called the end of the following week for August 22nd! So 6 weeks give or take!
