After Surgery....

From all things to think about before surgery (Sept 23)....I am thinking on how long after surgery can I shower??  I am of those that I pretty much  need to shower daily otherwise, I just don't feel that great with myself.

So when can you shower after surgery??

I couldn't wait to have one, I know some waited til they got home on day two or three, others had one at the hospital. Really depends on how your feeling. 

I had one the day after I got home, just was careful not to le****er run on or move skin near stitches/incision sites.  Go slow and not too hot, you should be fine. 

I had a shower day 2 in the hospital.....the surgeon said it was fine....I ha my surgery Monday and have pretty much showered everyday since.....just make sure not to get much soap on incisions and keep them dry! The first day you won't feel like doing much at all....
