Loved yesterday's featured article on the forum.  The guy's motto  around exercise in a crazy busy world -- make the time or make an excuse - but you can't do both.!     It does take focus and selfishness to make the time when you are trying to balance career, family, friends, lifestyle change, diet, and exercises.  Not easy -but it doesn't happen if we don't make the time.

Preface to say, I have not read the article....

We need to put ourselves first - or close to the top- likely for the first time in our lives.....make yourself a priority

I exercise at 6A.M.....hate it....hate hauling myself out of bed...especially when its cold and dark....but if I dont do it then it wont get done....either life or an excuse will get in the way

Food - I pre-plan the night before and log into myfitnesspal....I cook in large quantities once per month or so and freeze in portions.....

Do I always stick to my plan? - no.....but I HAVE a plan...each and every day

Is it a pain in the ass?....hell yes......do I have another choice if I want to keep the weight off?.........none that I know of!

well said, Birdie. I'm putting myself as close to the top as i possibly can. It can sometimes inconvenience other people, but that's their problem, not mine. I spent too much time at the bottom of the barrel. Much better view from the top of the heap!

Yeah... I need to work on my time management. I like the pre plan meal idea.
