I was wondering if an electric pressure would be a good thing to have.

Since we need to cook our meat using moist heat would buying an electric pressure cooker be a good buy for me?  Does anyone else use one?  It would be so much quicker than the crock pot when you need a quick meal.  The Shopping Channel has one that they are selling I love their easy pay too.  I was just wondering if anyone uses one.

My mother and sister both had one years ago. They used it quite a lot. Scared the heck out of me he he. I always thought the thing would blow!

I had one of the old fashioned ones blow the top off once.  It scared the hell out of me and made a big mess.  This one is electric and it seems as if they regulate themselves. It would be nice to hear from people who use the electric ones. 

Oh, you did say electric but it didn't register with me. Cool.

I use the Wolfgang Cook electric pressure cooker, love it, make the beef Bourginon first and then if you need to puree it, you can.  All the meats are fabulous in it, and quick to cook in also.
