York Region/GTA Meeting 9/22/13 @ 2:30

Hello everyone,

The next York Region/GTA meeting is scheduled for Sunday, September 22 at 2:30. The meeting will be held in the Craft Room of the Langstaff Community Centre at 155 Red Maple Road in Richmond Hill.

This month's discussion topic is "Plastic Surgery" & will be led by me. Post weight-loss plastics is always a popular topic. I'll share with you my own journey from weight loss to plastics & then discuss the most common surgery types & cost ranges. I'll also talk about what surgeries may be covered by OHIP & what skin issues qualify for OHIP coverage. I'll also share with you the surgeons who will work with OHIP & have a good reputation among the WLS community in the GTA. Please note, I'll be sharing before & after images that may make some people uncomfortable so please keep that in mind.

There will be a $5 fee to cover the room rental cost. As always, support people are welcomed at no cost. We will also have our optional 50/50 draw & our clothing exchange. Please bring any extra clothes you may have & take home some new-to-you clothes at the same time.

Support is so important regardless of where you are in your WLS journey. Please take the time to come out. You'll meet some great people, have a perfect opportunity to ask questions & learn a lot in a friendly environment.
