I DID IT!!  3 days before surgery and I cooked the complete Thanksgiving dinner. Fresh cranberries stewed, the dressing and a beautiful turkey, Brussels sprouts in bacon casserole! The whole spread.

Never licked my fingers, didn't taste test.

Sat at the dinner table with everyone and drank a cup of tricked out broth (I put sage and poultry seasoning and pepper in made it boiling hot so I had to drink it with a spoon) and I had to blow on each spoonful so it slowed the meal down for me. I was finished after some of the people at the table with full plates. AND I WAS TO FULL to finish the broth.

Now I have 8 more optifast to drink and then surgery Tuesday morning. So far 19.4 lbs lost in 19 days  my goal is 21 in 21 days now (we'll see how that works out Tuesday morning).

Over all I am just so damn proud I got through this weekend and did everything I said I could and people thought it would be too much and to stressful   did it all and did it with my head held high!!

Your strength is amazing. You rightly deserve to be proud of yourself. There have been people go off it with less provocation. I know you will rock this journey and be one of the successful

Well done on keeping the focus!  This bodes well for you for what you will have to say "no" to post surgery!  Keep it up and best of luck for your surgery!
