fer-in-sol question

The internist put me on 4 ml's of fer in sol a day based on my labs. I have only taken it for 3 days now and am already getting staining on my bottom teeth. Can't use a straw. Any suggestions?

Is anyone on anything else that works that does not have this side effect?

I love my pearlie whites!

Hi, i am on 1 ml each night with vit C to help it absorb. I have notice my teeth are not as white but i will look after that later....Good luck Krista..

I also noted that I got a few hives each day after taking it. i'm going to call the internist tomorrow and ask if there are any alternatives.

I am guessing that fer-in-sol is some sort of iron medication... could you squirt it into the back of the throat with one of those needless syringes?

I cant take that one. I have to use Palafer. I also pour it in with my liquid calcium to take. I have also poured into a tiny amount of OJ to drink it also. No staining that I have noticed, maybe thats a solution for you.
