They usually have the BOGO deal once a month.. watch their flyer for it.. makes it more worth the money! I take 4 of them/day. 2 after lunch with 1,000-2,000 IU of Vitamin D3 and then 2 more at bedtime... (so 1,200 MG/day) plus what I get from dairy products

This is what I was given from the Ottawa Weight Management Clinic in December 2012.

Calcium Citrate - 1200 mg daily plus 400 IU Vitamin D per day - Choose 1

Webber Naturals Liquid Calcium + Vitamin D OR Wellease Liquid Calcium OR Jamieson MagaCal Chews (not 100% calcium citrate - switch to calcium citrate after three months)

I chose the Jamieson chews -- a whole whack of them for not too much money at Costco.

Please note after three months I changed to the Costco brand, Kirkland Signature, calcium citrate 315 mg with 200 IU Vitamin D (I take four a day).  The Jamieson do not have enough calcium citrate for us to use for longer than three months.  I do miss that chocolatey chew :)

Hope this helps.

They have 1 gram of sugar per chew;  you use what your centre tells you to, however.

As I said, this is what the OWMC has their patients take, and YMMV (your mileage may vary).

I signed up and placed an order on well.ca. thank for you this site - I will use these chews post-op for two to three months. There is a deal where you refer and get 10% off your next order over $40.00. Let me know if you need any contact info from me to get that deal....appreciate the link - Jo

I buy Webber Naturals Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3.  300 mg of Calcium and 200 IU of D3 in each pill.  I take 2 with lunch and 2 with dinner so get my 1200 mg per day but I also supplement my D since 800 IU is very little for North Americans.  I take my extra D3 with my calcium pills throughout the day.  I got 180 pills for about $12 but they do come on sale often. I wish we had a Rexall as I always seem to miss out on their BOGO.
