Hello everyone!

My name is Judy.  I have been lurking here a long time, getting a lot of valuable info and advice! My MD sent my referral on July 10th.  Am waiting.... impatiently... to hear something.  I believe I will be going to Humber by the map on the bariatric registry site.  Now that I have decided, I am hoping that things will go fast.  I have several comorbidities and have recently developed a heart issue.  I need to lose a lot of weight fast! I am 57 and probably near 300lbs.... I don't weight myself... too depressing. I love reading all the stories from the newbies and the vets.  Really helps to keep me positive, and focused.  Thanks to all.

Hi Judy,

To speed up the process at Humber, call the following and ask if you are in the system.  If you are ask them when you can attend the orientation and what is the date.  They will then ask for your email and send you some material for you to complete and bring with you for the orientation.

Thank you for sharing this information. I too have been referred to HRRH, my referral was May 14th 2014 and I haven`t heard anything so I am going to call them as well Thank you again for sharing.

Did they give you an Orientation date?  If not call the booking line and ask for a date.

They were closed by the time I called so I left a message if I don't hear back my Monday I'll call again :-) 

I decided to wait till Friday to call.... or maybe tomorrow.
